Kayaking

Last weekend a group of friends and I went kayaking in Concord MA on the Concord River. It was a spectacular trip; I had never kayaked there before. We rented from the South Bridge Boat House. We also paddled under the North Bridge.

The banks along the river housed some beautiful homes and wildlife. We saw herons and turtles. We kayaked through the Minuteman National Park and to the Greater Meadows National Wildlife Pond where we parked our kayaks to rest and walk around.

The total trip was 5.2682 miles. Next time I'll have to remember to bring more trail mix and granola bars.
